About the Role
Croco Motors is inviting applications from qualified and experienced individuals to fill the position of Workshop Foreman at its Toyota Mutare branch. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing workshop operations, achieving performance targets, and ensuring high-quality service delivery and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities

Achieve monthly and annual workshop throughput and labour hour targets.

Drive financial performance of the workshop while maintaining excellent service standards.

Ensure vehicles are properly allocated, serviced, tested, quality controlled, invoiced, and receipted prior to release.

Minimize turnaround time and improve productivity and efficiency.

Maintain ongoing client engagement through visits and technical support.

Monitor and respond to customer feedback and resolve concerns in line with policy.

Lead and train mechanical staff, plan workloads, and oversee daily operations.

Ensure strict compliance with health, safety, and cleanliness regulations.

Supervise the servicing of all plant and equipment.

Maintain accurate job cards, reports, and warranty claim documentation.
Qualifications and Experience

Apprentice-trained Class 1 Journeyman Motor Mechanic or Auto Electrician.

At least 5 years of post-qualification hands-on experience as a technician.

Experience with modern diagnostic tools and equipment.

Knowledge of vehicle systems (electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, etc.).

Proficiency in Automotive Dealer Management Systems (DMS).

Toyota-trained technicians will have an added advantage.

Familiarity with tractors, buses, and yellow machines is an asset.

Clean Class 4 driver’s license is mandatory.

Knowledge of OEM dealership workshop SOPs.

Strong attention to detail and customer service skills.

Honest, reliable, and team-oriented.
