Position Summary
The University of Zimbabwe is seeking a qualified and experienced Pharmacy Technician to join the Health Services Directorate. This is a full-time opportunity ideal for a registered pharmacy professional committed to delivering high-quality healthcare support services.
Key Responsibilities

Process and dispense prescriptions in accordance with SOPs
-
Order, manage, and control pharmacy stock
-
Maintain pharmaceutical care and collaborate with the healthcare team
-
Report adverse drug reactions and maintain clear communication on medication safety
-
Promote rational medicine use and ensure adherence to professional standards
-
Assist in the development and review of SOPs
-
Supervise subordinate staff and contribute to departmental leadership
-
Uphold professionalism and evidence-based decision-making in daily tasks
Qualifications and Experience
-
Diploma in Pharmacy Technology
-
Registered with the Pharmacist Council of Zimbabwe
-
At least 3 years of post-qualification experience in a pharmacy environment
-
Additional qualifications are considered an added advantage
