TOURISM INTERNS – B1 X 3 (MATOPO REGION-ONE YEAR)
Applications are invited from suitably qualified and experienced candidates for the above positions that have arisen in Matopo Region. The incumbents will be reporting to the Tourist Officer.

Duties (Responsibilities)

Opening and closing sales through telephone, email and walk-in clients,
Assisting in processing booking cancellations, alterations or amendments,
Participating at relevant travel shows and exhibitions,
Liaising actively with walk-in customers in relation to bookings,
Providing information to customers on non-consumptive products and services,
Welcoming and ensuring that clients are attended to within reasonable time to minimize customer frustration,
Handling customer queries and refer problematic/ complex cases to supervisor,
Compiling of monthly statistics, occupancies and reports required and
Performing any other duties as assigned by the supervisor

Qualifications, Experience And Skills

5 O ’levels including English Language,
Diploma/Degree in Tourism/Marketing or related
At least two years relevant experience or more in front office duties,
Computer literacy,
Strong interpersonal skills, professional maturity, openness and collaborative skills
Strong verbal and written communication skills,
Good team player.
