Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor of Science (Honors) degree in Biological Sciences or Bachelor of Science in Biotechnology or Bachelor of Science In Veterinary Sciences;
- At least one (1) year experience as a Bio-Laboratory Technician or in a similar Setup;
- Knowledge of artificial insemination would be an added advantage.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Preparation and analysis of semen;
- Provide artificial insemination (A.I) services to clients, use understanding of anatomy to accurately place semen in the proper place in the reproductive track;
- Maintain proper sanitation;
- Store, travel with, thaw and prepare semen for insemination;
- Promote new and current products/services to customers;
- Offer reproductive consultation to breeders and farmers, and perform pregnancy checks on animals;
- Any otherduties as assigned by the Supervisor.
