Applicants must have a Higher National Diploma in Analytical Chemistry or closely related field.

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Analytical Chemistry is an added advantage. The applicant should have 2 years’ experience working in an analytical laboratory. The successful candidate will be responsible for the preparation and analysis of samples for major cations and anions, nutrients, and other physical properties on various types of sample matrices (water, soil, plant, hazardous waste, food products) following standard analytical procedures.
• He/she also assures that maintenance of lab instrumentation and record-keeping of analysis documentation will be kept up-to-date while following strict Quality Assurance requirements and policies.
• The candidate will be expected to carry out field duties to assist graduate students’ research and field visits.
• The candidate should demonstrate proficiency in the use of computers and related software programmes.
• A Clean Class 4 Driver’s License is a must.
