TECHNICAL ASSISTANT SURVEYING (1 POST)
Qualifications, Experience and Attributes
Applicants must possess the following:
- Five ‘O’ level passes including Mathematics and English.
- A Higher National Diploma in Surveying or equivalent is an added advantage
- Have at least three (3) years practical experience
- Knowledge of University communication system in relation to the incumbent’s duties is an added advantage
Duties and Responsibilities
- Cleaning survey equipment and instruments.
- Issue of survey instruments to students.
- Proper arrangement of equipment and care of store rooms.
- Care of surveying equipment and assisting in making the equipment ready for use for practicals.
- Assist students, Technicians, Lecturers during field camps and practicals.
- Carryout library duties such as cataloguing, issuing, receiving entry of book and final year projects in the computer and maintaining order of books.
- Assist in reprographics in the department.
- Assist in cleaning of computers and department vehicles.
- Charging department vehicle batteries and equipment batteries.
- Any other duties as assigned by the Chief Technician.
