Reporting Directly to the Executive Officer Social Services and Administration, the incumbent will be Responsible for the following duties
• Management of network infrastructure •Lead the identification, evaluation, procurement and design of appropriate ICTs that help meet the local authority’s requirements • Manage installation and maintenance of hardware and software • Maintain systems security and data integrity • Manage the Councils communication resources (email, website) • Maintain IT licensing and ensure conformance and compliance • Day to day assistance of staff members with basic IT needs
Qualifications and Experience
• Relevant IT degree in Information Systems /Computer Science or Diploma in Computers/IT • At least 2 years relevant working experience in a public Sector Environment. • A Clean Class 4 driver’s licence • Beat least 30 years old
