SYSTEMS ANALYST

BASIC FUNCTION

Reporting to the Assistant Manager Systems Development, the incumbent will be responsible for systems analysis and development including installation, configuration, maintenance and support of the systems.

MAJOR ACTIVITIES OF THE JOB

1. Establishing systems requirements.

2. Analysing and designing systems.

3. Modulating and testing systems compliance.

4. Training system users.

5. Implementing and reviewing system changeovers and data conversion.

6. Establish high level information systems policy and procedures.

7. Managing projects.

 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• A degree in Computer Science/HND in IT Systems. or related qualification.

 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• A degree in Computer Science/HND in IT Systems, or related qualification.

• Project Management Diploma will be an added advantage.

 

EXPERIENCE & SKILLS

 

• Three (3) year’s experience in programming, preferably in financial services.

• Proficiency in current programming tools.

• Ability to define and negotiate technical support contracts.

• Switch management skills.

• Proficiency in MS office suite, email applications and MS project.
