Our client is an international company expanding their team within Zimbabwe looking for experienced and qualified Support Analyst to join their team. The Support Analyst provides front-line primary technical support to end users on various issues and problems relating to hardware, so ware and peripherals. Provide frontline customer support and provide implementation support. Review and contribute to customer test plans, execute test scenarios, capturing and logging of test results. Work in line with the EULA in order to prevent any breaches of the agreement. Resolve issues by taking customers through a series of actions using either the telephone or email. If the user problem cannot be resolved then log the case in Jira and monitor and track the status of open cases. Assist with planning and execution of customer User Acceptance Testing. Including the logging of test results and retesting as and when required. Maintain a good working relationship with customers and other professionals, e.g. So ware Developers, Testers and Implementors. Adhere to the SOC1 requirements. Assist with set up test and production systems. Maintain and present KPI information related to customer support cases. Provide 2nd Line Support as directed by the Head of Departments.
Provide occasional 3rd Line Support as directed by the Head of Departments. As 1st Line Support / Helpdesk Adviser you will have some basic computer science knowledge and a background in IT and customer service. With a natural curiosity, an ability to solve problems and to work independently, you will ideally be familiar with: PostgreSQL Tools; knowledge of the SQL Language; Unix Commands; Google Suite; Jira (Desirable); Understanding of Java (Desirable).
