We are for two chefs to join our team and prepare delicious meals for our customers. They will directly report to the Food and Beverage Manager and responsibility ultimately is to ensure that they prepare and deliver a complete menu that delights our guests. The incumbents will be stationed in Bulawayo
Responsibilities
- Setting up kitchen with cooking with cooking utensils and equipment
- Study each recipe and gather all necessary ingredients
- Cooking food in a timely manner
- Ensuring appealing plate presentation
- Monitoring food stocks and placing of orders
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations within the kitchen area
- Any other duties as assigned by the Food and Beverage Manager
Skills and Competencies
- A minimum of a diploma/ certificate in culinary arts, catering, cooking or equivalent
- Minimum three (3) years working experience in a fast paced kitchen environment as a chef or cook
- Ability to handle pressure and work overtime, during holidays and or night shift
