Supervision and Licencing Officer 1573 views

Main Duties

Conduct Prudential and anti-money laundering and combating financial of terrorism and proliferation (AML/CFT) inspections for licensed entities,

Receive and process new license applications and renewals, and attend to inquiries related to licensing and registration,

Interact with compliance officers to improve AQML/CFT at institutions licensed by the commission to bring integrity , safety and stability of the securities markets,

Participate in on-site and off-site inspections and produce reports highlighting deficiencies and courses of action to be taken post each inspection of collective investment scheme CIS funds and other registered funds,

identify gaps and recommended policies interventions to strengthen the regulatory oversight of the commission.

Qualifications required

Relevant university degree (Law, Financial Intelligence, Finance , Risk Management, Economics Accounting )

Experience in AML/CFT supervision in a regulatory environment and basic background of capital and financial markets

At least 1 year experience in a financial institution

Strong communication and report writing skills
