Key Responsibilities
- Receive, inspect, and record all incoming stock and deliveries.
- Issue stock strictly against authorized requisitions and maintain accurate bin cards and stock records.
- Conduct regular stock counts and participate in monthly and ad-hoc stock takes.
- Ensure proper storage, handling, and preservation of goods to prevent loss, damage, or expiry.
- Promoting storeroom hygiene and security at all times.
- Monitor stock levels and promptly report shortages, variances, slow-moving products.
- Adhere to company policies, internal controls, and loss prevention procedures.
- Liaise with procurement, finance, and unit operations on stock-related matters.
- Prepare and submit routine stock reports as required.
Requirements
- Higher Diploma in Stores Management / Purchasing and Supply Management.
- 3 – 4 years’ proven experience as a Storesman (preferably in hospitality and retail).
- Strong numeracy and record-keeping skills. Understanding of FIFO / FEFO principles.
- Knowledge of bin cards, GRVs, IBTs, requisitions, and stock variance control.
- Basic knowledge of internal controls and loss prevention.
