Stock controller

A job opportunity has arisen in the Warehouse Department of a well-established transport concern. Suitably qualified candidates are invited to apply for the position.

Location Harare

Responsibilities

• Managing the receiving and dispatch of product from the warehouse
• Warehouse KPI’s tracking and reporting through daily reconciliations to ensure that the warehouse transactions match with the ERP (Sage) transactions
• Monitor warehouse delivery plans and stocks forecasting for the warehouse
• Maintains inventory by conducting daily, weekly and monthly physical counts; reconciling variances and inputting data.
• Ensure suitable management information is provided for Logistics and Supply Chain Management
• Prepare daily and monthly warehouse report
• Managing the invoicing process by ensuring all dispatches from the warehouse are invoiced or have the necessary transfer documentation
• Review and validate monthly warehouse costs actual against target/budget

Educational Background & Experience
• Degree/Diploma in Supply Chain/Logistics Management/CIPS/CILT or any relevant qualification
• 5 year’s experience
• Good analytical skills with ability to use various ERP’s, Microsoft office especially spreadsheets and other tools for management of the logistics operations, procurement of transport services, etc.
