Key Responsibilities
- Maintain records of ore movements from extraction through milling, stockpiling, processing and recovery.
- Witness agreed weighing, sampling, processing, recovery and handover activities and maintain supporting documentation.
- Collect, file and follow up invoices, receipts, delivery notes and other supporting documentation.
- Assist with physical asset and stock counts and identify and report unexplained variances.
- Maintain accurate Excel registers and well organised physical and electronic project files.
- Check information against source documentation and physical observations, clearly identifying incomplete or unverified information.
- Track outstanding matters and follow up with relevant site personnel.
- Conduct regular site rounds across mining, ore handling, milling, stockpile and processing areas.
- Maintain daily records of production, ore movements, processing activities, equipment operation, downtime and operational constraints.
- Maintain the project asset register and records of equipment, assets, consumables, spares and operational materials.
- Complete regular project updates and management reports based on site observations and verified records.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree/Diploma in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Project Management, Operations Management or a related field.
- A minimum 3 years’ experience in project administration, site administration, mining administration, operations administration or a similar role.
- Strong numerical and analytical skills.
- Excellent organisational, administrative, communication skills.
- High level of integrity, discretion and ability to work independently.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word.
- Holder of a valid Class 4 driver’s licence.
