Key Responsibilities
- Attending to customers with courtesy and ensuring excellent service at all times
- Shelf stocking, arranging merchandise, and maintaining product displays
- Processing sales, handling cash/Point of Sale transactions accurately
- Monitoring stock levels and reporting shortages/damaged goods to supervisor
- Keeping the shop area clean, neat, and well organized daily
- Assisting with monthly stocktakes and inventory counts
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year relevant experience in retail, supermarket, or shop operations
- Minimum qualification: ALevel with passes including English & Mathematics, or Certificate in Retail/Sales
- Basic computer skills and POS/Cash register operation experience is an advantage
- Strong customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work under pressure, for long hours, and meet targets
- Must be prepared to work odd hours, including weekends and public holidays
- Successful candidates will undergo a 2-week trial period before official engagement.
