Our client in the Mining Sector is seeking to recruit a SHEQ Officer with strong mining experience to champion Safety, Health, Environment and Quality across underground and surface operations.

Key Responsibilities
- Enforce health, safety, environmental and quality regulations and company standards
- Conduct daily inspections: shafts, stopes, haulage, crushers, explosives magazine
- Manage blasting safety, confined spaces, working at heights
- Investigate incidents/near-misses & submit required reports
- Run toolbox talks, safety inductions, and emergency drills
Requirements
- Diploma/Degree in OHS, Mining Engineering, Environmental Science, or Geology
- 3+ years proven experience in Zimbabwe mining operations-underground/surface
- Mining industry appreciation: ventilation, strata control, drilling/blasting basics
- Valid Class 2/4 driver’s license. Must be fit for underground work.
Salary
USD1,100.00 (MEDICAL AID COVERED)
