A mining company is on the job market and seeking to recruit. Applications are invited from suitably qualified and experienced persons to fill in the following vacant positions. The mine is in Bindura.

Duties And Responsibilities
• Monitors the place and manning the mine entry points.
• Records all personal details of visitors before entry.
• Monitors movement of property in and outside the mine
• Search and Screen all persons entering and leaving the premises to ensure that no prohibited materials or items enters or leaves the premises.
• Escorting of valuables.
• Conducting patrols in and around the mine.
• Mans guard posts and other security points.
• Receive visitors at the front office desk, records their personal details and timeously advise the relevant Division.
• Attend to all emergency alarms and carries out initial investigations.
• Records and maintains all official records at Guard posts and all activities in the relevant log books and provides daily updates.

Qualifications And Experience
The ideal candidates should have:
 5 “0” Levels including Mathematics and English
 A Former Soldier /military man with at least 1 years’ experience in the security field
 Knowledge of standard security processes
 Not above 45 years
