Section Engineer Structural and Civil – ZPC

Qualifications, Experience and Attributes

• •A degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent
• •At least 8 years working experience in civil engineering construction and structural works.
• Professional membership of a recognised Engineering Institute (Registration with Engineering Council of Zimbabwe would be mandatory)
• Familiarity with blasting operations
• Core skills in planning, design, controls
• Ability to handle change programmes
• Project management experience and certification (PRINCE2/PMP)

Key Responsibilities

• Monitors Site and other Site processes and supervises civil engineers and technicians
• Reviews and updates civil designs and drawings as well as engineering procedures
• Reviews and monitors blasting operations
• Monitors project civil engineering progress, identifies potential and real problem areas, formulates solutions and advise
• Monitors the quality of Civil engineering works and ensure a safe and health working environment at all times
