Key Responsibilities
- Administers and maintains SAP ERP systems to ensure high availability and optimal performance
- Ensures continuous availability of SAP ERP services across DEV, QAS, and PRD environments.
- Implements performance monitoring, system configurations and design solutions.
- Manages Sybase/HANA databases, including backup/recovery, high-speed transaction recovery and maintenance.
- Coordinates SAP transports between environments and automate data backups with disaster recovery validation.
- Configures ERP systems to synchronize with geographically dispersed Disaster Recovery sites.
- Oversees data ingestion from external sources (partner databases, mobile tools) while maintaining security/integrity.
- Troubleshoots data quality issues and oversee database structure implementation.
- Defines user access rights, enforce security protocols, and document access audits.
- Responds to system challenges from the support team.
- Provides proactive/reactive data management support and user training.
- Enforces and audits database policies, procedures and standards to ensure data security/privacy.

Requirements
- Minimum of 5 ‘O’ Levels including English and Mathematics.
- At least 2 ‘A’ Levels or equivalent.
- Degree Computer Science, Information Systems, Electronic Engineering or a related ICT field.
- Minimum of two (2) years’ experience in SAP BASIS support.
- Membership of a recognized professional body (e.g., CISSP, PMI, CSZ) is an added advantage.
- SAP BASIS certification or other professional certifications such as ITIL, COBIT or equivalent will be an added advantage.
