Qualifications and Experience

• A Diploma in Environmental Health and safety management or other relevant discipline
• Membership of a recognized professional institution is an added advantage
• 3 years post graduate experience

Duties and Responsibilities

• Assists in production and maintenance of health and safety programmes
• Ensures that health and safety meetings are held as per statutory requirements
• Offers periodic feedback to Safety Officers on health and safety matters.
• Assists Officers in carrying out routine or unplanned visits and inspections to ensure compliance with health and safety legislation and taking action to improve conditions;
• Attends to hazard identification and Risk Assessment for critical activities
• Tracks, reports and investigates incidents –
• Generates daily HSE logs and Progress Reports
