Job Summary

The SHE Office will be responsible for devising measures and policies that preventing accidents, injuries and work related illnesses. The Officer will have to make sure high standards of safety an health are maintained. The officer will create and implement policies and procedure in accordance with the current legislation making sure that programs are efficiently working and meeting the OSHA requirements. The SHE Officer will report to the Chief Operations Officer.

Duties And Responsibilities

1. Developing and implementing ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 SHE standards also OHS systems.
   2. Develop and maintain SHE management system according to organization requirement
   3. Coordinating internal audits and inspections
   4. Gather input data for SHE reports and statistics according to organization requirements
   5. Interpretation of company SHE policy, standards , systems and legal requirements
   6. Coordinating accident/ incident investigations, reviews and compilation of reports

Qualifications And Experience

1. Degree in either Environmental science, Environment management, Environmental studied, Occupational health, Safety and Environment management.
   2. A professional qualification in qualification in in OSHEMAC or NEBOSH
   3. Exposure to ISO14001 and 45001
   4. At least 3 years working experience in mining field
   5. A clean class 4 or 2 drivers license
