Risk and Compliance Manager Harare
Ensure that Mobile Financial Services is conducting Its business in full compliance with all national and international laws and statutes, Industry best practice, directives and regulatory requirements that pertain to the financial services and telecoms industry, as well as professional standards, accepted business practices, and internal standards and policies through an efficient compliance program. To administer and manage the company’s risk management program so as to minimise revenue leakages along the electronics delivery value chain from both internal and external risks.
1. Develops compliance policies, processes and procedures 2. Establishes measures that ensure the business complies with all applicable law, statutes and regulations. standards of teat practice, internal policies, processes and procedures. a Reviews new products for compliance with applicable regulations. 4 Oversees and monitors the implementation of the compliance programme S Liaises with Legal department on contract negotiations, and finalization 6. Acts as the link between the business and the Regulator. 7. Prepares and submits applications for new products and enhancements to regulatory authorities for approval a. Submits regulatory reports, statistics on a weekly, monthly and quarterly basis. B. Identifies, measures, monitors and control risks in liaison with Audit & Risk. 10. Guides the business on matters notating to risks issues. 11. Conducts risk review on now products before launch. 12. Implements measures to prevent fraudulent activities and transactions 12 Liaises with law enforcement agents and other partners in the enforcement or fraud deterrent mechanisms 14 Receives and resolves escalated fraudulent activities, queries and complaints.
– Bachelors Degree in Commerce or equivalent. 5 years management experience in Risk/ Compliance in the Financial Services sector.
Must have a thorough understanding of Financial Services regulations In Zimbabwe. Must have a thorough understanding of Compliance Management Good knowledge of various MFS products. current trends, market dynamics and customer needs Knowledge of product and user experience. Ethical and principled.
