Registered General Nurse

Applications are invited from competent, suitably qualified and experienced persons to fill in the positions based at our Clinic in Belgravia.

Responsibilities:
• Assessing a patient’s condition and planning and implementing patient care plans
• Assisting in performing procedures
• Observing and recording patient vital signs
• Ensuring that ventilators, monitors and other types of medical equipment function properly
• Administering intravenous fluids and medications
• Ordering diagnostic tests
• Responding to life-saving situations, using nursing standards and protocols for treatment
• Acting as patient advocate
• Providing education and support to patient families

• The incumbent should have a genuine desire to help and care for others
• Good interpersonal skills
• Ability to work and remain composed under pressure
• The ability to pay thorough attention to detail
• The ability to use computerised communication systems
• Good team working skills
• Good decision making skills
• An understanding of patient confidentiality
• Knowledge of disaster management

Qualifications
• Diploma in Nursing
• Professional certifications as appropriate
• Current Practicing Certificate
• 5 Years’ Experience
• Basic Life Support a must
• Post basic either ICN or Midwifery will be an added advantage.
