Quantity Surveyor

THE JOB DESCRIPTION
• Developing cost plans and estimate through the design phase and delivering update cost.
• Construction finance and management reporting
• Interpreted specifications and extract bill of materials, schedule of materials or bill of quantities that might be required.
• Ensuring that cost variances and change control processes are managed effectively.
• Preparing progress payment claims
• Ensuring that final accounts are negotiated and agreed in a timely manner.
• Tendering, extracting from drawings, billing and estimate focusing.
• Reviewing suppliers and subcontractors’ pricing and leading negotiations to drive fair contract price.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
• A Degree in Accounting or finance, Quantity surveying or equivalent
• Experience in cost management & reporting.
• Experience with Electrical & Mechanical works measurement
• At least 5 years’ experience in a similar position.
