Duties And Responsibilities
To perform and manage internal audits, both planned and unannounced, from scheduling through to completion.
To ensure that all laboratories, Depots (ISO 15189) and support departments (ISO 9001), are audited and that quality management systems comply with international standards.
Assist with implementation of QMS in laboratories, depots and support departments if required and requested by relevant management.
Assist with document review, to ensure that documentation is accessible, current, and clearly understandable.
Monitors and trains internal Auditors during audits, to ensure that the trainees are competent as per ISO 19011.
Record trend analysis by capturing finding from internal audit and external audit reports for the purpose of identifying training needs, and for input into management review.
Assist in development and presentation of training courses to improve knowledge for all staff.
Liaise with Lancet South Africa and SADACS as required on matters of quality assurance.
Qualifications And Experience
Medical laboratory Sciences Degree
Quality Management qualification is an added advantage
Medical Laboratory and Clinical Scientist Council Registration and valid practicing certificate
Ability to handle work related pressure
At least two years working experience
