PUBLIC RELATIONS AND MARKETING OFFICER

PURPOSE

Provide leadership and support in brand management, communication, and building relationships with customers and stakeholders.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

⦁ Carry out market research, keep up with customer trends, forecast future trends, and competitor and customer insights analysis
⦁ Develop strategies and manage marketing campaigns in print, broadcast, and online platforms and build the credibility of brands
⦁ Organise events such as product launches, exhibitions, and photo shoots
⦁ Manage a portfolio of products, assisting with product design and development, pricing and new product launches as well as develop new business opportunities and maintain branding consistency
⦁ Plan and execute all communications and media actions on all channels, including online and social media
⦁ Communicate with customers and respond to queries in a timely manner and monitor customer reviews
⦁ Organise press releases, prepare media kits, and speeches, for the company leaders, develop advertising and marketing communications material, and prepare articles for corporate newsletters
⦁ Any other duty assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

⦁ A Diploma, HND in Advertising, Marketing, and Sales
⦁ A relevant Degree is an added advantage
⦁ A minimum of 5 O’ Level passes including English and Mathematics
⦁ Two years of relevant working experience in a similar position
⦁ Ability to interpret the work in accordance with the laid down procedure
⦁ Excellent computer literacy skills particularly in Ms. Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint
⦁ Ability to work in a team
⦁ High level of integrity, innovative and analytical skills
⦁ Excellent interpersonal and social skills
⦁ Confident communicator and presenter
⦁ Good report writing skills and conflict resolution skills
