Key Responsibilities
- Checks water and tyre pressure of the vehicle before leaving the station.
- Drives the council vehicles in a manner that protects the safety of the passengers or goods and all other road users.
- Ensures the safety of the vehicle and any goods contained by properly parking the vehicle and locking the doors.
- Carries out minor vehicle repairs such as changing of tyres.
- Reports accidents, in case of such event and follow set procedures of obtaining names of people involved.
- Ensures all vehicles are licenced.
- Ensures cleanliness of all vehicles all the times.

- 5 O’ Levels including, English language.
- Class 2 driver’s licence
- Valid Defensive Driving Certificate
- Valid Re -test Certificate.
- At least 5 years relevant experience.
- Below the age of 49 years.
