About the Organisation
Youth Forum Zimbabwe is a non-profit making organization that was formed in August 2004. It was formed as a response to the social exclusion of youth in political processes in Zimbabwe. The overall aim of the Youth Forum Zimbabwe is to enhance youth participation and empowerment in policy-dialogue and political decision-making. Youth Forum Zimbabwe is a membership-based, mandate-driven organization led by; and for the young people in Zimbabwe. Its members are passionate and committed to amplifying and strengthening the voice of the Zimbabwean youth within the political landscape.
Duties and Responsibilities
Managing the organizations social networking media accounts; Organizing trainings, roundtables, networking events and other activities to achieve the goal of the organization; Responsible for writing activity and project reports; Works together with the Program Officer identifying topics for discussion on social media; Developing work plans and progress reports as required; Maintains relationships with other civil society organizations, policy and decision makers; Represents Youth Forum to NGO partners, government officials, funding sources, other partners, beneficiaries, and at conferences and other outreach opportunities; Ensuring monitoring and evaluation of activities and reporting meet Youth Forum standards and are completed on schedule
Person specifications
A degree or diploma in Social Sciences/Development studies; A strong command of the English language
