Job purpose
The Graduate Intern will be responsible for assisting community participation in programs and facilitating implementation and monitoring of the Safe and Inclusive Cities Project. The intern will also be responsible for building relationship activities for the Program area.

Key responsibilities
Facilitate effective participation of children, families, communities and stakeholders in programming activities; Maintain accurate, up-to-date baseline, monitoring, evaluation & research program information; Facilitate community participation in the planning, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of programs; Establish good working relations with children, families, community leadership, community based organizations (CBOs), government extension staff and other stakeholders; Participate in stakeholder meetings and networks at ward and village levels; Promote child rights based programming at field level

Entry qualifications and experience
A recent Graduate with a Degree in Social Work, Development Studies or related discipline from a recognized institute; Willingness to work with communities at grassroots level; Excellent communication and problem solving skills; Ability to work in a multidisciplinary and multicultural environment; Current knowledge of Rights Based Programming is an added advantage; Good teamwork and interpersonal skills; Knowledge in monitoring & evaluation system design and approaches; Ability to use data analysis software such as Microsoft Excel and SPSS
