Procurement Officer – Upper Manyame Sub Catchment Council 1378 views

DUTIES

Overseeing the procurement of goods and services for the Council in line with the Procurement Laws and regulations

2. Preparation and maintaining of the annual procurement plan for the Council

3. Advising the Accounting Officer on procurement matters

4. Preparing periodic procurement reports for the Accounting Officer

5. Maintaining records on all procurement proceedings and related matters

6. Preparation of bidding documents in terms of the law

7. Any other duties as assigned by the Chief Executive Officer

 

PERSON SPECIFICATION

• Minimum of a Higher National Diploma in Purchasing and Supply from a reputable institution

• A degree in Purchasing and Supply will be an added advantage

• 5 years post qualification experience in Public Procurement will be an added advantage

• Aged between 28 and 40 years

• A clean class (4) driver’s licence

• Thorough understanding of Public Procurement Processes
