Qualifications, Experience And Attributes

• Bachelor degree in purchasing and supply or equivalent
• At least 3 years working experience in a procurement environment
• Membership of a recognized professional body
• Clean class 4 driver’s licence
• Fully conversant with the Public Procurement and Disposal of Public Assets Act (Chp. 22:23)
• Good analytical skills and attention to detail
• No criminal record

Duties

• Preparation of the Board’s procurement plan in line with the organization’s budget
• Preparation and submission of monthly and annual procurement returns
• Managing procurement contracts (tenders)
• Preparation of bidding documents in accordance to law
• Leading the Procurement Management Unit and giving proper advice to the Accounting Officer
