Personal Specifications
- Degree in Procurement and Supply Management or Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply (CI PS or Bachelor of Business Administration.
- Excellent Written and Oral Communication Skills,
- Excellent understanding of Supply Chain Management Procedures and strategic planning abilities.
- Strong Interpersonal skills.
- Well-developed analytical skills.
- Highly motivated and able to work without constant supervision.
- A dean class 4 driver’s licence.
Job Duties
- Monitors business trends and product availability to pay the best price for company goods and services without sacrificing quality or delivery times.
- Nurtures relationships with suppliers to negotiate the best prices for company.
- Identifies and research potential new suppliers
- Researches new products and services to meet company’s goals
- Assesses total costs of company purchases
- Develops and implements strategies for procuring, storing and distributing goods or services and maintaining stock levels.
- Any other duties as may be assigned.
