Personal Specifications

• Degree in Procurement and Supply Management or Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply (CI PS or Bachelor of Business Administration.
• Excellent Written and Oral Communication Skills,
• Excellent understanding of Supply Chain Management Procedures and strategic planning abilities.
• Strong Interpersonal skills.
• Well-developed analytical skills.
• Highly motivated and able to work without constant supervision.
• A dean class 4 driver’s licence.

Job Duties

• Monitors business trends and product availability to pay the best price for company goods and services without sacrificing quality or delivery times.
• Nurtures relationships with suppliers to negotiate the best prices for company.
• Identifies and research potential new suppliers
• Researches new products and services to meet company’s goals
• Assesses total costs of company purchases
• Develops and implements strategies for procuring, storing and distributing goods or services and maintaining stock levels.
• Any other duties as may be assigned.
