Key Responsibilities

  • Driving aggressive client acquisition and market penetration, with a primary focus on the Chinese business segment.
  • Manage relationships, monitor client portfolios and market trends to provide proactive advice to customers.
  • Conducting credit appraisals for loan applications and monitor portfolios to ensure minimal non-performing loans (NPLs).
  • Coordinating and facilitating import/export transactions and providing expert support for Letters of Credit etc.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (credit, product, operations) to meet client needs.
  • Ensuring 100% adherence to regulatory requirements, specifically KYC (Know Your Customer), AML (Anti-Money Laundering), and CFT (Combating the Financing of Terrorism).
  • Achieve revenue, asset growth, and profitability targets.
  • Championing the Bank’s Elevate360 corporate culture, bridging it with Chinese banking and business etiquette to enhance relationship synergy.

Requirements

  • Strong credit appraisal capability and financial analysis skills.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and negotiation skills, with a proven ability to network with high-net-worth individuals.
  • Written and understanding of Chinese business culture is desirable.
  • Deep understanding of Chinese business culture, corporate etiquette, and commercial practices.
  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Business, Banking, or Economics.
  • An IOBZ Diploma/equivalent professional qualification is highly desirable.
