Job purpose
The principal Contracts Administrator administers established contracts , in accordance with established laws and approved procedures , to achieve delivery of contractual obligations to agreed standards
Key Result Areas
- Contributes to the development and implementation of contract management plans by sourcing documents and established contracts as well as monitoring performance and addressing non-performance , to achieve the required contract outcomes
- Administers contracts with approved Contract Management Plans and procedures and update contract details to maintain the integrity of contract information
- Interprets and explains contract requirements , and terms and conditions to stakeholders to support compliance with statutory and policy requirements and inform decision making
- Establish and maintain stakeholder and supplier relationships to identify and minimize risks, and maximize the value from the contract
- Proactively identifies and manages contract risks to meet organisational obligations and achieve planned outcomes of the contract
- Performance management in the context of IRBM
Qualifications and experience
- University Degree in Supply Chain Management / Procurement / Law
- At least 5 years post qualifying experience , at middle management level
- Post graduate qualification in Management e.g MBA, MBL, or MSc or Diploma in CIPS will be an added advantage
- A clean class 4 driver’s license is a must
