Pension Administration Manager

Vacancy has arisen in a pension fund org.

Duties entail

• Attending to complex queries by contributors ,
• Checking and approval of benefit calculations processed by Benefit Claims Officers in line with the Fund’s rules.
• Checking and approval of monthly contribution returns updates and reconciliations performed by Pensions Administration Officers in line with authorisation limits.
• Preparation of supporting active membership data and statistical reports required on a quarterly basis by the regulator, IPEC.
• Maintaining an accurate control of outstanding benefit claims contribution debtors and an effective diary system.
• Preparation of supporting statistical inputs for the departmental reports and stewardship reports required for Executive Committee and Management Committee Ideal candidate to have degree in pensions management or equivalent eg BSc Economics , BBs ,BComm Professional qualification in pensions management or equivalent eg CII, IISA
• Good understanding of pensions legislation
• 5 years of relevant exp of which 3 should have been in a supervisory level.
