Painter (Contract Basis) (2 Posts)

Main Duties and Responsibilities

• Matching colours by mixing paints, stencils and sign writing on products and other Organizational assets;

• Painting and spray painting on Organizational assets both new and old;

• Recommends colours to be used for painting on Board structures;

• Raising material requisitions for paint required in line with tasks to be executed;

• Adhering to and ensuring adherences to safety, health and environment regulations and standard procedures; and

• Perform any other work-related duties as assigned by the Supervisor.

Qualifications And Experience

Core Competences

• Good understanding of painting codes and practices;

• Good interpersonal skills;

• Risk management skills; and

• Fair supervision skills.

Qualifications and Work experience

• Class One (1) Certificate in Painting;

• National Certificate in Painting and Decoration; and

• Two (2) years’ experience.
