OPERATIONS CLERK WANTED

Wild Horizons is looking to interview candidates to fill the above mentioned middle management position.

The vacancy is within the Operations Department – reporting to the Operations Manager, but also fills a vital link with Sales & Marketing.

Prospective candidates will need:-

• Be computer Literate in Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel
• Have previous experience in Customer Relations within the Tourism industry
• Be a self-motivated individual, capable of working within a group environment with group objectives in mind
• Be a problem solver and able to work well under pressure
• Outgoing personality and comfortable with dealing with people one on one
• Be able to work weekends on a rotational basis
• Hold valid & clean Class 4 drivers licence

Duties and responsibilities will include

• Meet & Greet groups & individuals
• Correspond with agents and Tour Leaders for Group Series bookings
• Monitor group requests and implement bookings via the reservations department
• Meet guests and attend to any problems they have encountered
• Monitor driver delays from strategic hotels within Vic Falls Town
• Meet with guest services personnel and Hotel managers on service related issues
• Assist with office admin when necessary

There is no housing or company vehicle for this position, so candidates with their own vehicles will have an added advantage.
