VACANCY
A construction company based in Harare is urgently looking for an Office Assistant who is
ready to start work immediately.
JOB TITLE: OFFICE ASSISTANT
Job Description
Managing the reception area
Welcoming and providing general support to all visitors and directing them to their
respective offices for further assistance
Attending emails,calls,printing,filing, and relaying the information to respective persons
Creating requisitions for additional materials needed for the projects
Coordinating with managers to schedule appointments
Scheduling meetings, sending reminders, minuting and circulating them to relevant people
Making follow up calls to clients and directly reporting to the Managing Director
Updating clients, the position of their jobs which are still in production
Taking record of all materials and tools going on site
Setting up boardroom for all meetings and interviews
Ensuring supplier registrations are submitted in time with all documents required
To carry any other duties assigned by the management from time to time
Skills Required
Good interpersonal skills.
Extensive critical thinking, problem-solving and decision-making skills.
Excellent collaboration and teamwork skills
Great organization, time management and prioritization abilities
Comfortable in high-pressure and fast-paced environment
Pays attention to detail
Qualifications & Experience
A diploma in secretariat and administration
A minimum of three years field experience preferably in the construction industry
A clean class 4 driver’s license
