The BLENDED EDUCATION COLLEGE OF SOUTHERN AFRICA (BECSA) Music Lecturer. The college is inviting applications from suitably qualified and experienced candidates for the position of Music Lecturer to deliver lectures in Music Education to trainee teachers.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver lectures in Music Education to trainee teachers
- Prepare lesson plans, teaching materials, and assessments
- Assess and evaluate student performance
- Supervise teaching practice where required
- Participate in departmental activities and curriculum development
Requirements
- A First Degree in Music or Music Education (Master’s Degree is an added advantage)
- Minimum 2 years’ teaching experience.
- Ability to teach both music theory and practical components
- Good communication and classroom management skills
- Candidate should be able to undertake other duties assigned to him/her.
