Reporting to the Program Area Manager this position is needed to assist on the Girls and Young Women (AGYW) project monitoring, evaluation and research initiatives
Knowledge
• ·A degree in Social Sciences, Economics, Development Studies, or a related field from a recognised institution• ·A post graduate degree in research and or monitoring and evaluation will be an added advantage• ·Knowledge in monitoring & evaluation system design and approaches• ·At least 3 years’ experience in monitoring and evaluation of projects/programs• An understanding of community development work• Ability and willingness to ride a motor cycle
Skills• Good technical skills in research and evaluation• Ability to work in a multidisciplinary and multicultural environment• Proficiency in MS office tools which includes MS Access, and use of research applications, SPSS and other statistical packages. Behaviours• Having initiative and able to work independently• Promotes innovation and learning on program quality.• Confident in taking initiative and exploring new opportunities• Assertiveness and shows cultural sensitiveness
