Mine Surveyor
ROLE OVERVIEW
- Responsible for carrying out surveys, developing mine plans and ensuring adherence
Duties
- Calculating and plotting surveys accurately
- Developing mine plans and designs and ensuring adherence
- Direct and assist team members in use of electronic surveying equipment, systems or other instruments
- Update relevant maps , drawings and databases with any ammended information
- Draft maps , drawings and create a databases with any ammended information
- Draft maps , drawings and create a database of survey data including developing layouts, production drill mark-ups and miscellaneous layouts
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Degree/ Diploma in Mine survey
- At least 3 years experience in a mining environment
- Open pit experience an added advantage
- Knowledge of ISO 14001 , 9001 and 45001 systems
