Mine General Manager

A large diversified Holding Group is looking for dynamic Officers to provide mining business leadership and direction to one of its subsidiary. This is an excellent opportunity for experienced mining finance and human resource managers with entrepreneurial orientation to apply.

The General Manager will be reporting to the Board and the minimum qualifications and experience are:

a. Mine Manager’s Diploma/Certificate or a mining related Degree.
b. Proven experience in senior gold mine management, river desiltation management and land reclamation.
c. At least 5 years of experience in River Gold Mining Management river desiltation management and land recla mation.
d. Able to handle high pressure and work with diverse communities.
e. A thorough knowledge of the Zimbabwean Mines and Minerals Act, RBZ Act, mining statutory and local government provisions.
f. Must be persons of high integrity, with good leadership skills.
g. Knowledge and experience with green field mining projects.
h. No criminal record.
