Mills Manager

We are a newly established Mutare based Milling Company dealing in the milling of maize/mealie meal (flour milling experience is an added advantage). The positions below have arisen in our Mill. We are looking for experienced personnel to join our team and the incumbents should have a minimum of the following:

• Self motivated and able to thrive in a fast -pace setting environment.
• Three (3) years hands on experience in the relevant post.
• High level skills in Microsoft Office suite (particularly Excel).
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Attention to detail, team mentality and a positive attitude
• Ability to multi-task, work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Traceable references.

This job requires the following; 
• A very analytical person who pays attention to details.
• One who knows ROFF mills in particular together with the mechanical knowledge and maintenance experience.
• A sound accounting background with a Degree or better with SAP knowledge.
• Occupational Health and Safety legislation application
• Good management of subordinates
• Also should be having good clerical and reporting skills
• Experience in Mill automation and process flows
• A sound knowledge of maize grain qualities like moisture content, grain sizes etc and extraction rates
• All appropriate grading courses (including bag and bulk fumigation)
• Ability to do procurement of raw materials and packaging
• Should be familiar with Fontification and dozing as well as fumigation
