JOB DESCRIPTION
Dr CADx is a medical technology start-up tackling the problem of the severe shortage of radiologists in Africa and the developing world in general. Dr CADx, through a computer aided diagnostic software that helps doctors diagnose medical images more accurately and at a low cost, will help improve patient outcomes and optimise healthcare costs. By deploying an artificial intelligence system that will be available at any given time of the day we will greatly improve the quality of patient management and save lives, especially in the marginalized areas.
The Role
- Interact with healthcare personnel to define clinical use cases, and guide customers in their purchase decision making
- Provide clinical support to end users in the use of Dr CADx solutions and gather user feedback
- Analyse clinical data for Dr CADx’ algorithms in collaboration with consultant radiologists
- Provide feedback on Dr CADx’ solutions during design and development
- Take part in our research, clinical studies, and scientific publications
- Deliver training sessions to users and other stakeholders
- Collaborate with theclinical, software development and commercial teams
Requirements
- Registered medical doctor with 1 or more post-houseman ship experience
- Demonstrated interest in, and knowledge of digital technology in healthcare
- Proactive and gets energy from meeting and talking to people at all levels
- Collaborative and team-oriented mentality
- Excellent time-management and organizational skills
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Preferred Experience
- Knowledge of PACS, RIS or HIS
- Moderate to extensive experience in a radiology department is an added advantage
