Key Performance Areas

Reporting to the Maintenance Coordinator , the incumbent will be responsible for assisting the coordinator in the following

1. Planning and overseeing mechanical activities to ensure plant availability
2. Maintenance of plant utilities , general machinery , boilers , hydraulic systems , conveyors  and water pumps
3. Leading and grooming skilled workforce
4. Enforcing compliance with S.H.E issues and other factory statutory requirements
5. Controlling of repairs and maintenance costs

Key requirements

• A minimum of 5 O Level passes including Mathematics and English
• Class one (1) Journeyman
• At least 8 years working experience , 4 years of which should be at supervisory level
• Experience in timber industry is an added advantage
• Hands on experience in hydraulic systems is a must
• Computer literacy
