A growing NGO is looking for a solid, creative, flexible and innovative professional to fill the vacancy of Marketing Officer. Based in Chitungwiza and reporting to the Director, the incumbent will be responsible for: promoting the internal and external business of the organization in Zimbabwe including image, ideology, mission and vision.

Tasks
Developing creative promotional materials
Planning publicity strategies including recruitment, awareness-raising festivals etc; Writing and producing articles, press releases and testimonies for local and international media; Designing, writing and producing leaflets, journals, documentaries, brochures, information for website and promotional videos; Managing and producing content for the organization’s social media sites; Analyzing and enhancing opportunities for positive media coverage on organizational events; Coordinating internships for project participants; Developing a comprehensive marketing plan for the organization and businesses running within the organization; Assisting with the development and design of fundraising proposals, quarterly and annual reports; Identifying emerging market demands pertaining to youth development programming; Attending functions and making presentations on behalf of the organization; Flexible to take up other tasks as and when the need arises

Candidate Profile
University degree in relevant field of study; At least 3 years work experience; Possess a clear understanding of contemporary development issues and trends in Marketing in the field of youth development; Excellent IT, data consolidation and reporting skills; Ability to travel regularly to project areas; High level of integrity, honesty, transparency and leadership; Capacity for analysis and creativity in solving problems; Strong interpersonal, communications and organizational skills; Excellent creative skills in analyzing and solving problems; Ability to work independently, exercise a fair judgment and make decisions based on correct and timely; Driving license holder
