MANAGER-FINANCIAL ACCOUNTING
JOB PURPOSE
The position exists to ensure financial tracking and reporting systems are in place to effectively manage provided funds in a timely, complete, and accurate manner. The designation ensures resources are utilized efficiently within the organisation to avoid any financial loses whilst providing timely and reliable financial information and analysis that leads to effective decision making. The incumbent shall be reporting to Finance Director.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Manage creditors reconciliation
Manage payments.
Recommend investment of surplus funds and placement with other financial institution.
Recommend investment risk strategies.
Review investment decisions
Manage debtors, travel & subsistence accounts.
Initiate and implements strategic plans.
Supervise staff and carry out performance reviews.
Implement staff development plans.
Cascade and communicate policies to departments.
Review and recommend financial statements for further approvals.
Review general ledger reconciliation
Attend to audit queries.
Recommend on the Accounting policies
Review and approve general ledger account reconciliations.
