LEGAL PRACTITIONER

A boutique Law Firm in Harare is looking for an experienced registered legal practitioner to join its growing team on a full-time basis. The candidate will work with support staff under their guidance hence must be able to show leadership and good management skills. The candidate must be able to manage their own diary so that they are able to attend to all the duties and responsibilities.

The job entails attending to clients to receive instructions, research and drafting court papers, appearing in all levels of the courts, drafting and negotiating agreements, drafting conveyancing files, attending to the administration of estates, drafting well researched legal opinions, provide real-time commercial advice and be able to adapt and research new areas of law relevant to the business preparing billing and management reports.

Qualifications and experience

Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB). At least two years’ experience, exceptional written and verbal communication and negotiation skills. Extensive research, drafting and planning skills

High level of integrity and professional accountability

Ability to work as part of a team and to work under pressure.
