Department of Development Sciences Development Science (1 Post) Applicants must have an earned PhD in the field of Development Science or should be a registered PhD student and a Master’s Degree in Development I Sciences and Policies with a Meat pass or better. A good foundation degree in Development Sciences is a must.
The successful candidate will be expected to provide academic leadership to the Deportment, initiate, guide and contribute to basic and applied research programmes in the Department as well as teach the following courses at Undergraduate and Postgraduate level: Civil Society, Government and Private Sector Development, Development Theories and Approaches and related courses. In addition, the candidate will be expected to co-ordinate and participate in the supervision of Undergraduate and Postgraduate research students. University teaching experience is a distinct advantage.
