Leadership and Advocacy Consultancy: Women and Law in Southern Africa

Women and Law in Southern Africa is seeking the services of a qualified and experienced consultant to carry out training of community focal persons on leadership and advocacy funded by GIZ. Individuals who possess the following attributes are encouraged to apply:

  • Good understanding of Advocacy and Leadership, Gender issues globally and nationally, especially in relation to Access to Justice and Women’s rights
  • More than 5 years’ experience in gender, advocacy , governance, leadership, women’s rights and the law
  •  Extensive experience in Leadership, Governance and Advocacy
  • Knowledge of the Constitution and of the Gender Equality, Access to justice and Women’s Rights Provisions

  • Familiarisation with the alignment process and development of legislations processes
  • Demonstrated experience in women’s rights laws
  • Advanced University Master’s degree in the Social Sciences, Peace and Governance, Law, International Relations, Development studies or another course preferably relating to gender equality and women’s rights.
  • Traceable references and evidence of sample work.
